Cure for Paranoia
As ThatKidCam, McCloud released several impressive recordings — some produced by J. Rhodes, and one featuring –topic. His delivery is intense, hyper and unpredictable. Backstage at The Bomb Factory in October, he approached Erykah Badu and free styled a verse for her in front of a very large group of people. Naturally, it was caught on video and tens of thousands of people watched it online. Badu was impressed enough that the two have stayed in touch.

He also found the local hip-hop scene to be cliquish, reminiscent of high school. McCloud was thinking he would rather start his own group than try to fit in with someone else's. For live shows, he started bringing in other performers, most notably vocalist Stanley Francisko, to sing on the hooks, and the Institute production team (JayAnalog and Tomahawk Jonez) to do live DJ sets.

K.O. aka Mr. U Can't Handle Me
K.O. aka Mr. U Can’t Handle Me is Louisiana born but Texas raised. He currently resides Galveston County TX. It wasn't until about 6 years ago that he began to write down his ideas and life experiences as lyrics and orchestrate his self expression in the culture he valued so highly. When he had unintentionally finished enough songs to fill up a CD, he decided to give the collection to a couple of people and see what their response would be. The reaction he got was far more enthusiastic than he had ever imagined. Word of mouth soon spread and KO was being requested to perform on stage. With his love of being on stage, it wasn’t long before KO was being asked to not only perform but also to host shows. From Galveston County to Harris County and beyond, KO has more than 300 shows under his belt many which he developed himself. KO continues to improve his skill daily and believes that his love for music will provide the outlet he is looking for.

Tex-T
Tex-T is one of the true artisans amongst the ranks of talented hip hop artists from the Galveston County area. Tex-T is a South Texas hip-hop rap music breeder who is purely concerned with making good music. He’s a connoisseur and contributor to the art of poetry.

Beginning his lyrical journey, some years ago, He began flipping flows at the age of fifteen. Two years later, he started to write. “I still freestyled but I was in Denver at the time, so we were on the back porch of the house beat boxing and going at it, you know getting back to basics.”

Due to a nearly fatal accident, he moved to Houston, TX in 1998 which brought on a whole new style of music he hadn’t experienced before, Screw. Tex-T continued to pen verse, recording his songs with basic music software programs and pressing up his own cds. Soon, using music as his catalyst, Tex-T found himself focusing more on the aspects of a career in hip hop cause he believes it’s only natural for his gifts to be utilized. “Catchin lead will change ya life”

“I wake up in the morning with music in my head something different daily, and being in the studio recording just makes it right.” Everything happens for a reason…yes, things that happened in my life at times were almost tragic, but it was a blessing in disguise, and now I have added a new dimension to my life” says Tex-T.

After meeting with 4Sho records for a little session, he started recording with them and eventually wrote his own album. Among other accomplishments, Tex-T has co produced/wrote a group effort, Too-$ix, as well as other numerous mix tape selections including a feature on Dickinson Recording group D.O.W.N.’s sophomore album. So needless to say Tex-T eats, breathes, and lives Hip-hop. Tex-T is Hip Hop.
