Dennis Quaid & The Sharks
Dennis Quaid & The Sharks
"The audiences have a blast, which is all we want. I make a complete and utter fool of myself. I think that's the only way to have fun onstage, instead of trying to pretend to be cool and all the rest of that stuff."
— Dennis Quaid

Dennis Quaid and The Sharks have been performing in front of thousands of people receiving rave reviews. He is not just another actor turned rock star, he is a rock star.

Dennis Quaid is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. He performs many original plus classic hits such as "Spill the Wine", "Gloria", and many more.

The band's origins can be traced to one night when Quaid went to see actor Harry Dean Stanton and his longtime band (appropriately named the Harry Dean Stanton Band) perform at an L.A. club.

Quaid was invited to join the band onstage. At first reluctant because of his decade long layoff from music, Quaid finally did perform with the band and was successful enough that James, also a member of Stanton's band, approached Quaid about starting a group of their own.

James quickly began recruiting others for the band and it wasn't long before Dennis Quaid & the Sharks, which specializes in "rock 'n' roll and country-soul," was performing at L.A. clubs.

The band even throws in a Jerry Lee Lewis song or two in the mix, such as "Great Balls of Fire," which Quaid has firsthand experience performing, having played "The Killer" in a 1989 biopic.

Quaid said the shows are as much fun for those in attendance as they are for the band. "(The audiences) have a blast, which is all we want," he said. "I make a complete and utter fool of myself. I think that's the only way to have fun (onstage), instead of trying to pretend to be cool and all the rest of that stuff."
The Weeds
The Weeds
The Weeds are a band consisting of four very talented teenagers. They play a mix of both classic & modern rock and even a little blues.
The Weeds started out in 2012 as a two piece band with Addison Ruddell and Ryan Isbell. The following year Blake Isbell joined the band. Then in December 2013 Jonathan Hales came in on Lead Guitar completing the line up.

Their first time to play out in their current line up was mid December 2013; they were an immediate hit. Now, just a short time later, on any given weekend you can catch The Weeds playing venues all over Houston and the surrounding areas.
Rainchild hails from Houston Texas with a drive to be the most notable band in the region. It consists of four members with the raw and uncompromising drive to create music from the underbelly of ill emotions, vises, and hurt.

Since hitting the Houston scene three years ago, the group has continually expanded its horizons by playing gigs throughout Texas. Front man Dustin Condon was awarded 2011 vocalist of the year for Texas Buzz Awards, while guitarist Jason Degge was nominated guitarist of the year 2011. Rainchild has been privileged to perform with many National Touring groups like Hinder, Days of the New, Lynch Mob, Earshot, Parabelle, The Hunger, Pushmonkey, Vallejo, Texas Hippie Coalition, Hurt, and others. Rainchild enjoys playing for charity organizations such as Homes for our Troops, Cherish our Children International, Rock for Warriors, and more.

Rainchild has just released their EP “Anatomy 1/3” and has been touring throughout Texas since July to support the EP’s release. Rainchild will continue to release their remaining tracks in 3 song increments. Anatomy 1/3 is now available through iTunes, CD Baby, and Napster. The group has been recording with sound engineer Brian Baker at Sound Arts Recording Studio based in Houston, and has been produced and recorded by Jim Finley. All songs are mastered by “Big Bass” Brian Gardner at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles, CA.

Ultimately, Rainchild’s goal is to offer a unique music experience to all music lovers and deliver a powerful message in a rip-roaring, fist pumping, and energetic kind of way! Please join their mailing list at
