Sun-Dried Vibes
Sun-Dried Vibes
Sun-Dried Vibes provide a fresh twist to the reggae/rock genre with their high-energy live performances that crank out infectious sing-a-longs laced with a positive message. SDV will be heard, since their inception in 2010 the group has performed around 275 dates a year. The trio of road warriors have two full length albums under their belt and a new one in the works for 2015. Sun-Dried Vibes took home back to back awards for South Carolina's Rock Band of the Year in 2012& 2013 voted on by the SC Music Awards and were voted Charlotte's Best Local Band 2012 by the Readers of Creative Loafing. In 2014 one of the most progressive promoters in the world took notice and added SDV to the major festival 'California Roots: Carolina Sessions' sharing the bill with the Rebelution, Matisyahu, Collie Buddz, Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, Katchafire and more in Wilmington, Nc. This festival along with a headlining tour in the US Virgin Islands was the icing on the cake in 2014.

2015 is the year of opportunity for Sun-Dried Vibes. SDV will set out on a national tour this summer highlighted by an appearance at the largest reggae music festival in the world. California Roots Music & Arts Festival will take place this May in Monterey, CA and the group is humbled to share the bill with SOJA, Steel Pulse, Dirty Heads, Chronixx, The Roots and many more. Sun Dried Vibes will also start working on their new album in San Diego this June.
Indaskies
Indaskies
InDaSkies was created during the fall of 2012. No one anticipated that what started in a friends garage would turn in to something awesome! Joe Started to write some lyrics for the original tunes he had played for years around the house and instrumental songs that he would jam for friends. What Really broke the ice was when Joe started to appear at local open mics @ cockeyed seagull, Cabo, Union Tavern, and Fatty's. InDaSkies gained the luv and respect from other performing local artist which eventually lead to finding the missing band mates InDaSkies needed to fill out the sound. The band went through a few members along the way and could never find the right fit. Then in 2013 Joe came across two friends that were looking for a new project introducing Steve Mcdonald and Charlie Glen to complete the rhythm section for InDaSkies! InDaSkies played as a four piece band for the majority of 2014 but there was still something missing. InDaSkies had the opportunity to play a few shows with the dynamic husband and wife duo Mike&Kristen Aka "The Radio Broadcast". InDaSkies asked Mike&Kristin to guest appear several times during live shows. Mike would provide unique sounds and extra percussion with his DJ equipment and Kristin would fill in the perfect spots with her keyboard along with some lead/backup vocals. InDaSkies loved Playing with these two so much it only felt right to have them be a part of the InDaSkies team. InDaSkies kept in close contact with these two through out 2014. Mike&Kristen informed the group that their previous project didn't work out and they were available to make some InDaSkies practices. InDaSkies knew after the first practice with Mike&Kristen that the band grew 2 members stronger. Towards the end of 2015 Joe and Steve cam across Bradley Mangrum who's talent surpasses not just being unique trumpet player but also a great vocalist. They met at a friends birthday party in Galveston, TX. He sounded so good for just improving his lead trumpet and vocals that we asked him to attend a practice. This was very similar to Mike&kristen introduction to the band. Fortunately Bradley's first practice was an instant hit with the band and he was asked to join. The rest is history and this is the short sweet story of how it all went down. The making of InDaSkies!!!!

Biography
Spreading good vibes is our philosophy. So open up, and let the music set you free.

When you slow down, and take your time, you'll realize your limit is your mind. So reach out to where you want to go, and leave the barriers behind..

But don't be afraid to leave it all behind, just live life until you change.. Look up at the sky. Know that one day you'll fly far far away to pink mountains in the sky.
