King Parrot is a 5 piece band from Melbourne who play extreme music with elements of thrash, death, grind and punk rock. Uniquely Australian with their energy, presence and humour King Parrot are well renowned for their aggressive and visually entertaining live show. Since the bands inception onto the live scene in Australia in 2011, their work ethic and commitment to touring and releasing new material has seen them become one of the leading acts in this genre. The band recently won Best Heavy album at The Age Newspaper/Music Victoria music awards and also won Act of the Year at The Cherry Bar - AC/DC Lane - Jagermeister awards for 2013. The band will head to SXSW in Texas in 2014 and undertake a full US tour after.

Both releases have been serviced by Impedance Records in Australia. This year King Parrot signed a 3 album worldwide deal with Candlelight Records who are based in the United Kingdom and United States of America.
Candlelight Records are affiliated with EMI label services and Caroline Distribution in the USA and Plastic Head distribution in Europe.
Both King Parrot the EP and album have been combined and released under the "Bite Your Head Off" banner for the worldwide market.

In March 2013 the band self funded a tour to Indonesia where they played 6 shows and appeared at Obscene Extreme Festival in Jakarta. Festival organiser, Miloslav Urbanec proclaimed the King Parrot set was one of the "most enjoyable performances he had seen in his 20 years of running the festival". King Parrot has been a major draw card on Australia's Bastardfest, Obscene Extreme, Devil's Kitchen, Dead of Winter, Cherry Rock and Whiplash Festivals.

In June 2013 King Parrot participated in a national tour presented by youth broadcaster Triple J with internationally recognised acts Thy Art is Murder and Cattle Decapitation (USA). They have recently just finished a tour with another internationally renowned group Psycroptic, and have followed that up with their own Australian tour in September 2014. Solidifying the bands presence in the national market, King Parrot have recently been rewarded with the cover of Veri-Live magazine in July, and will feature on the cover of the nationally distributed Heavy Music Magazine in August.

A second single and video for the track "Bozo" has just been released. The video is based around the bands live performance and was filmed at the Cherry Rock Festival in AC/DC lane Melbourne in May 2013. Their first single and video for the song "Shit on the Liver" was a finalist in the Australian music video competition at St Kilda film festival. The video has over 100,000 hits on Youtube and has been hailed by critics and media alike as one the best Australian underground heavy metal video's of all time.
Torrid Complex
Torrid Complex
Founded in 2011, Torrid Complex is a group of good ol southern Texan boys that live normal family lives just like everyone else. The same issues that enrages many of you also light a fire in us too. We express how we feel through our music which is why we believe that anyone from any background can relate to the messages that we deliver in our songs. Our music comes directly from our hearts and souls. There is always power and enthusiasm when you are doing something you belive in, and we bellieve we are making the best metal music that Houston TX has to offer!
Shaving Susie
Shaving Susie
Shaving Susie
Rock/Metal from Alvin Texas

Shaving Susie formed in December 2008. Starting with two founding members: Terry Arehart and Cody Howes. While seeking out members to complete the band, Chris Cook, Rick Nugent and Derek Savoie finalized the band’s roster. Each member of the band brought their own unique style to the band. Some of Shaving Susie’s influences are Johnny Cash, Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Megadeath, Metallica, System of The Down, Pantera, Slipknot, and many more. Rather than focusing on one particular style, the band decided to merge each member’s style creating a southern swampy metal sound.
We are a solid group of seasoned musicians that have been around each other for years, but all in different bands. Once we all came together after many years, we often wonder why we didn’t do this years ago. We all work great together and everyone is dedicated to the work. We have been together as Shaving Susie for 6yrs now, and are still going strong.
Within the first couple of years we focused on writing, playing shows every weekend and recording tracks for our first CD we titled “RAZOR BURN”. And we are currently in the studio recording our second album now at Sugarhill Studios.
We have had several great shows over the years at such venues like: House of Blues, Scout Bar, Hard Rock Café, Engine Room, BFE, The Rail Club and Warehouse Live, to name a few. And have also played several music festivals such as SXSW. We have opened for many national acts such as Jackyl, Metal Church, HED PE, Filter, Saliva, Saving Able, HELLYEAH and Texas Hippie Coalition to name a few. Our music reflects a modern sound with a vintage feel.

As of January 2015, unfortunately Chris Cook and Derek Savoie had to leave the band for personal reasons. We wish them well and thank them for 6 years of service with Shaving Susie.

As of February 2015 we brought in Zakk Hart as our new Vocalist and Curtis Herrmann took over on Drums.

Green As Emerald
Green As Emerald
Hailing from the great state of Texas, Green as Emerald is pushing the envelope of what a young metal band is capable of. They could sit here and talk about their past & how they came together, but that doesn't matter. What matters is they're here NOW. Pulling from all areas of metal, they've focused on trying to write solid and focused songs as opposed to simply trying to be the heaviest band there is. From death metal to hardcore, speed metal to hair metal, Green as Emerald is putting the fun & kick ass mentality back into metal. No one remembers the band who constantly only tries to be heavy, but they do remember the band that wasn't afraid to step outside their respected comfort zone & try something new. As some bands are scared to see what their limitations are, it is not the case here. Appearing to take on all changes presented to them, Green as Emerald has quickly gained a loyal following due to the DIY work ethic, shameless self promotion through all avenues, personally selling tickets to open for some of the biggest bands in the scene, Green as Emerald has played the 2015 Knotfest & proudly shared the stage with the following bands:
